I am not sure that this can be classified as creativity if it lands the lawyer in jail. This makes a good point, however. People seeking legal advice should really check lawyers out - try to get a referral from a trustworthy person, for instance. Chances are if a lawyer is getting "creative" with his own finances, he or she is getting "creative" elsewhere as well. It pays to shop around and even pay a little extra for a lawyer who is really looking out for your best interests.
