Above is a link to a short article about land use planning in Oregon involving students in the Oregon University System. I liked it because it discussed how a certain report indicated that citizen participation needed to increase relating to land use goals in their own communites, and how targeted goals apply to the objective of "having more compact living and the idea of people not spreading out so far into broader rural lands."
