Above is a link to an article about homeowners insurance. It has some good pointers for keeping your cost down. I was a bit surprised to read that some insurers can just stop insuring in certain areas because of past weather patterns. The accompanying article on page 2 regarding what a homeowner can do about rising rates had some interesting solutions.
